The pilot is a paid, time-boxed evaluation — three to four weeks, hosted on our infrastructure, against your firm's own real or sanitized matters. If you continue, the pilot fee is credited in full toward your first year, and ALIS moves on-premises onto infrastructure you control.

3–4 weeks
Starts once ALIS is deployed and confirmed operational in your environment, ends on an agreed Pilot End Date.
Provider-hosted during the pilot
ALIS runs on RICKCLMNT-controlled infrastructure for the pilot window. Choose sanitized or redacted matters accordingly.
No feature gating
Full platform access within the agreed scope: practice area, attorney count, and active matters set at signing.
One-time, scaled to firm size
Invoiced at signing, sized to your applicable license tier and fully credited toward the first year if you continue.
Confidential, then deleted
Matter data is never used beyond operating the pilot and is permanently deleted from our infrastructure after the pilot ends, or sooner on request.
Opt out anytime before the deadline
Notify us before the cancellation deadline and the engagement simply ends — no further fees, no continued access.
Continuing past the pilot means redeployment on-premises, on infrastructure your firm controls, coordinated in advance so access isn't interrupted. From that point, matter data stays inside your environment at all times.
The pilot fee is scoped to your annual tier.
Whatever you pay for the pilot comes off your first year in full if you continue.
